Where does my inspiration to write go whenever I open up this darn blog???
I've always got such incredible things to say, and then when I get to the computer I just suck!
I've seriously been thinking about staying home next year and home-schooling Aidan. I think that would solve so many of our problems! Of course, it would probably also cerate a bushel-ful more. But seriously, with as much as I feel like I'm floundering in my job, and how Aidan is so unchallenged at school, I think we could do better at home. Except for the fact that he and I fight all the time! :) He's such a strong-willed kiddo~ which is why I put him with this teacher, who is also very strong-willed. But he's not really learning in my opinion. What do I do with him to keep him occupied? He's in 2nd grade (should be first) and he's reading at a 6th grade level. His Verbal skills are light years above his age. And his math skills are excellent, but are falling away.
So, do we take the hit financially and have me stay home? It would mean we don't get a new house any time in the near future... So if another baby comes, where do we find the space? And, it would mean that I couldn't spend nearly as much as I do on scrapbooking supplies!!! I also wonder if Aidan would get the social interraction that he craves!
Those are the thoughts on my mind...
I guess I just need to start doing some research so that I can go to David with both guns loaded~ He is vehemently opposed to homeschooling.
